Who can join the FEANTSA Youth network of young professionals?
- Any organisation that is a member of FEANTSA (members and affiliates) without any additional cost
- The representative should be between the ages of 18-35 years old with the consideration of lived experience of homelessness in the decision
What are the benefits of joining?
- Participation in capacity-building opportunities: professional development and more chances of staff retention.
- First-hand experience of the governance and running of a European network among young professionals.
- Engagement in transnational cooperation for the young people working in service providers.
- Shaping the future of the homelessness sector in Europe
What is the governance structure?
- The FEANTSA Youth Assembly is the main governance body, meeting once a year.
- Every organisation member of FEANTSA Youth has one vote, through their young delegate.
- The Assembly elects a Youth Board of 2 to 7 members who appoint a Chair.
- The Chair sits at FEANTSA AC (but without the right to vote) and reports back to the Youth Board.
