Youth Study Session: Ending youth homelessness by embracing cultural diversity (2025)
Between the 13th and 17th of October 2025, 34 young professionals from 14 different European countries gathered in Budapest to take part in the study session 'Ending youth homelessness by embracing cultural diversity'. The session was run in co-operation between FEANTSA Youth and the Youth Department of the Council of Europe.
The training aimed to equip young professionals in homeless service providers with the competencies to improve their work with young people from a migrant and/or minority ethnic background, reflecting lived experiences as much as possible. During the five days, participants discussed each other's work contexts, exchanged good practices, learned about intercultural competencies in supporting young people, and designed an action plan to bring back home.
