HSP Summer/Autumn 2025 Newsletter

The summer and autumn of 2025 have been marked by multiple consultations launched by the European Commission in direct or indirect relation to the housing agenda, including on the European Affordable Housing Plan, State aid rules and the next Multi-Annual Financial Framework. In the current issue of the HSP Bulletin we provide an overview of these developments.

These consultations contributed to the long awaited European Affordable Housing Plan, which was presented on the 16th of December by Commissioner Jorgensen in the Plenary of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The Plan is part of a policy package that also includes a European Strategy for Housing Construction, the revision of State aid rules on Services of General Economic Interest and a Communication on the New European Bauhaus, all of which you can consult here.
