2nd Overview of Housing Exclusion in Europe
FEANTSA and the Fondation Abbé Pierre released the Second Overview of Housing Exclusion in Europe in a seminar at the European Parliament 22 March 2017. The Overview is the culmination of detailed analysis of EU SILC data, from which has been drawn a range of indicators of housing exclusion. Homelessness and housing exclusion is revealed to be rising across Europe, in some places alarmingly so, with the exception of Finland. As well as being published in a physical format, the Overview is available for free in both English and French.
The 2017 version reveals alarming evidence of rising homelessness across the majority of the European Union, as well as a dramatic picture of severe housing deprivation in almost all EU countries.
