FreeFEANTSA WOMEN is organising a training on Understanding violence against women, homelessness and multiple intersecting inequalities
The training will explore the complexities of identifying and responding to violence against women in homelessness settings, where survivors and perpetrators are likely to be experiencing homelessness, substance use, poor mental health, alongside violence against women.
The training will cover:
- Dynamics of violence against women and coercive control
- Policies/Legislation on violence against women
- The stereotypes of violence against women
- The impact of perpetrator tactics
- Violence against women and multiple intersecting inequalities
- How to recognise high-risk indicators of violence against women?
- How to effectively respond to violence against women in homelessness settings?
When: on the 7th and 8th of July in Budapest at the Council of Europe Youth Center. (address: Zivatar utca 1, 1024)
The training language is English.
The training is free; the only costs associated with it are the travel and accommodation of the participants.
Please apply to the training by completing this form. The deadline for application is 20 May. Confirmation of participation will be communicated to you by 22nd May.
We are able to cover the accommodation costs for two nights (6th and 7th July) of a limited number of participants at the European Youth center.
