Guides Developed for Housing Support Workers, Peers and Volunteers

The Erasmus+ Trainhouse strategic partnership, gathering expertise and good practices from the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Spain and the UK, has published three guides for people working with formerly homeless people in supported housing. They have been created to offer guidance to people and organisations looking to launch a supported housing programme or to those are already doing it, but need ideas about how to train support workers and involve peers and volunteers. The guides target three different groups: professional support workers, peer support workers and volunteers and cover issues including recruitment, training, reflective practice and supervision, potential risks and tasks to be carries out. The guides also contain several case studies from different services and countries.
