The Homeless Planning, Intervention and Monitoring Centre (NPISA) have released their figures on homelessness in the city of Lisbon, counting 2,051 homeless people in total. Of these, 334 are sleeping rough and 1,717 living in shelters. NPISA also unveiled plans to open a restaurant that would give employability training to homeless people in the city, 85% of whom are men. Find out more here (in Portuguese).
