In traditional homeless services, people often must prove they are 'housing ready' before accessing stable housing. Housing First turns this approach around: housing is the starting point, not the end point.

The Housing First Europe Hub was founded in 2016 by the Y-Foundation (Finland) and FEANTSA. The Hub’s mission is to make Housing First the central response to homelessness by driving system change through advocacy, training, research, practice, communication, and capacity building.
Today, it brings together more than 45 organisations, cities, government ministries, housing providers and researchers across 15+ countries.
