At present, homeless people in Poland are often unable to vote due to the need for a permanent address when registering to vote. The Ombudsman for Human Rights, Adam Bodnar, is currently working to remedy this situation, and has requested that the Ministry of the Interior and Administration amend the registration regulations. The Ministry has responded by developing a draft regulation, which will go through the legislative process shortly. See more on the story here.
