The Safe at Home project, a joint venture by Kadera, Standing Together against Domestic Violence, Peabody and FEANTSA, is an EU-funded project to involve housing providers more directly in the prevention of domestic violence. Employees from housing providers will receive training in how to spot the potential signs of domestic violence, such as broken bathroom doors, and then report these to a district manager. The first housing corporation to take part is Corporatie Domijn uit Enschede in The Netherlands. Read more here.
