FEANTSA produces a number of tools and toolkits to help service users, researchers, local authorities etc, to better understand and tackle the problem of homelessness.  Click on the links below to find out more about definitions of homelessness, integrated homeless strategies, how to ensure the meaningful participation of people experiencing homelessness in decisions affecting services, and EU specific terms.
 
 
      
 
 
This one-page typology was developed as a means of improving understanding and measurement of homelessness in Europe and classifies homeless people according to four living situations - rooflessness, houselessness, insecure housing and inadequate housing.

This handbook is aimed at policy makers and others seeking to tackle homelessness in Europe. It sets out the need for ambitious strategies which aim to end homelessness. It details the priorities and essential components that such strategies should contain. More specifically, it presents a set of five goals that strategies to end homelessness must work towards achieving, and gives examples of approaches that have been used to make progress towards them
